Janelle Cox is a graduate of Central Bible College and has been a licensed minister for 32 years. She began a career in the medical field 13 years ago and has worked every level of clerical medical outpatient. In 2013, she earned her first Certified Medical Billing Specialist (CMBS) certification; shortly after in 2014, she acquired her Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) certification and her ICD-10 proficiency certification. Janelle works in the private sector as a lead coder for a local OB/GYN group and a coder for an optical association. Janelle has taught in Lithuania, Ukraine, Uganda, and the Black Foot Reservation. She is an instructor at the Knoxville Campus.
