Derrick Parks has worked in various aspects of healthcare, public health, and allied health academia over the past 20 years. He attained his bachelor’s degree in psychobiology from Oberlin College and completed two years of graduate medical education at Wright State University School of Medicine. Derrick is a certified medical assistant (CMA-AAMA) and is currently pursuing certification credentials as a Facilitator of Adult Learning (CFAL) and will apply for licensure to offer continuing education units (CEUs) to workshop participants in the medical assisting and allied health academia fields. He serves as an instructor and Director of Health Care Education at the National College Dayton Area Campus.
