American National University is proud to announce our Dean of Business and Accounting, Dr. Charles Franquet! Dr. Franquet has a broad and deep background in academia and industry spanning over 40 years. He is a veteran of the United States Armed Forces (US Army Special Forces). Additionally, he has extensive experience serving in senior leadership positions of the defense and healthcare industries (with considerable time engaged in Global Business ventures primarily in the Middle East). He has maintained an active role in mainstream academia for over 23 years. He has held senior leadership positions for Bell Helicopter, MD Helicopters, and Alliant Tech Systems as well as academic organizations such as Campbell University, Textron University, TUI University and ECPI University where he served as the Dean of Graduate Programs. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Board for R2R LLC a multi-unit family-owned business operation.
“I see my role as Dean to be a journey of a servant leader to bring out the infinite potential in every one of our students and faculty,” says Dr. Franquet, “as well as provide the example for continuous improvement in the organizations, schools, individual faculty members and individual students… and we should all be having some fun doing it along the journey!”
