Patricia Sell

Director of Health Care Education

Patricia Sell is the medical programs department chair and Director of Health Care Education at American National University’s Princeton Campus and has been with the university since 2001. She earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Fairmont State University, as well as a master’s degree in education from Virginia Tech. She has experience as an Associate Head Nurse, Charge Nurse, and In-House Supervisor at hospitals and nursing homes in Morgantown, Fairmont, Princeton, and Bluefield (WV and VA) and most recently worked as a relief hospice nurse. Patricia teaches clinical medical assisting courses, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, human diseases, and healthcare law and ethics courses in addition to monitoring externships and preparing students to take the RMA exam prior to graduation.
