Maria Festing has worked in the field of biology and genetics for over a decade, both in a teaching and research capacity. She has also written and published a number of primary research articles. Maria has a Bachelor of Science degree in genetics and developmental biology from The Pennsylvania State University, and a doctoral degree in molecular genetics from The Ohio State University. She received The Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools’ 2011 Master Teacher Award. Maria teaches introductory biology courses at the National College Columbus Campus.
