Dr. Brad Sauls, Ph.D., is an East Tennessee native and a Marine Corps veteran. He served 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, from 1999-2003, and was actively deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 as a radio operator/communications chief. He was combat decorated with the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Combat Valor. He also holds a Ph.D. in Environmental and Social Sustainability from Colorado Technical University. He has worked in the Environmental field for 8 years as an Environmental Consultant and an Environmental Coordinator. His main specialty in Environmental Science is in Ocean and Marine Species Conservation. Dr. Sauls teaches Environmental Science, Microsoft Office courses, and various business courses at the Knoxville Campus.
